Portraiture Study

This collection of portraits was created within a one-semester timeframe. The goal of this project was to hone my portraiture skills while exploring new art techniques and themes. For example, I explored new drawing and painting concepts like hatchmarking or reflective light. The cover of this project page is my penultimate piece, made from etching paper and an exacto knife. Through this project, I explored graphite, watercolor, gouache, and acrylic painting. This project was able to teach me about my own personal art style and allowed me to explore new concepts and themes.
