FreshScape Public Health Campaign

In the Spring of 2025, I took a Contemporary Issues in Professional Communication class. I took this class because of my interest in crisis and science communication. For our final project of the semester, we were tasked with creating a hypothetical campaign to educate the general public about a "wicked problem" (one that affects multiple aspects of society and has no single solution). My partner and I created FreshScape, a campaign teaching people about how green disparity and food deserts are determinants of chronic disease. We utilized readings from the course and the platform Canva to design a brand image for our campaign, as well as a list of deliverables to create a full-blown campaign. From this project, we learned important skills regarding graphic communication, science communication, and campaign design.
